The Warm Twilight House, designed by Weiting Wu, is a renovation project that breathes new life into a 30-year-old house. Unlike elaborate decorations, this design focuses on expressing inner quality and meeting practical use needs. With clean lines and warm natural materials, the design creates a simple and comfortable living philosophy.

The house covers an area of 170m2 and is divided into three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, a living room, and a kitchen. The rational space division transforms nostalgia into a perfect living and office space, emphasizing simplicity and comfort. The retention of the window structure ensures sufficient sunlight inside, enhancing the interaction between the building structure and light.

One of the unique features of this design is the use of healthy and environmentally friendly materials. The interior wood-decorated walls and cabinets are assembled from solid wood slices, each showcasing the natural texture and embodying a simple and warm style. The careful selection of building materials, with attention to naturalness and uniqueness, makes this residence a perfect example of a healthy and environmentally friendly home.

The Warm Twilight House project began its design in 2019 and construction started in Taiwan in January 2020. It was officially completed in September 2020. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges such as the building's age and structural defects. However, they successfully coordinated the interior spaces with the future use without altering the original building structure.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This award acknowledges the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements. The Warm Twilight House is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
